Edelman Ireland appoints Peter Brennan to its Board
14 January 2010 - Edelman Ireland has today announced the appointment of Peter Brennan as a non-executive director of its advisory board. Dr Brennan is Managing Director of EPS Consulting (formerly A&L Goodbody Consulting), which he established in 2001. He has a unique mix of public and private sector experience at both national and international level spanning a 40 year period, with particular expertise in the areas of economic research, strategic planning and EU and national policy. He is a Director of Bid Management Services and an advisor to several business start-up companies.
Dr Brennan has previously worked on EU affairs with the Departments of Industry and Commerce and Foreign Affairs. He was a Director of IBEC until 2001 and also a Director of the Brussels-based Irish Business Bureau.
EPS Consulting has successfully completed over 350 projects for Government Departments, the Oireachtas, State Agencies, Local Authorities and a wide variety of private sector organisations.
He is an active member of the Small Firms Association, the Institute of Directors, the Institute of International and European Affairs (as chair of its climate change group), and is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisors. He is this year's President of Dublin Chamber.
Mr Brennan's appointment follows that of Jim Glennon who was appointed non-executive Chairman of Edelman in 2008.
