New business and a new recruit for DHR Communications
Following a competitive public tendering process, DHR Communications has been appointed by Irish Aid to promote and administer the Simon Cumbers Media Challenge Fund for 2010 and 2011. The Fund is aimed at promoting more and better media coverage of development issues and was established by Irish Aid in 2005 in memory of Irish journalist Simon Cumbers. The company has also recently been awarded contracts with Samaritans Ireland, Clúid Housing Association, the Myasthenia Gravis Association, The Model and the British Council (Ireland).
Separately, DHR Communications has appointed Noomi Egan to the position of Account Executive. Noomi completed an internship with the company last year, and previously worked with the business-to-business charity Connect Ethiopia. She will work on a number of key client accounts, including Comhar Sustainable Development Council, Active Retirement Ireland and the British Council.
