Elevate PR celebrates its 21st birthday this year. For our third decade, we have a new leadership structure with Claire Feely promoted to Deputy Managing Director, and Catherine O’Connor to Senior Account Director. Founder Emma Kelly, FPRII remains on as Managing Director, leading a team of nine PR creative brand connectors, innovators and futurists, devising client strategy driven by consumer insights and trends. Founded by MD Emma Kelly in 2001, Elevate has worked with over 300 clients during the last 21 years and delivered hundreds of impactful PR events and influencer marketing campaigns.

The media landscape has fragmented in the past 21 years, but the job of a PR agency remains the same. Brand storytelling is at the heart of what we do, getting key campaign messages and pictures to the target market. Influencer marketing now makes up one third of income. We have had a solid recovery from covid with current income exceeding pre pandemic levels. The key trends that impact PR strategy now are the explosion of social media, the rise of content creators, the climate emergency, diversity and inclusion.

Over the past two decades, we have worked on some great campaigns from Reebok’s launch of the Diane Von Furstenberg collection for Venus Williams at Wimbledon in 2003, to the Year of Irish Design 2015, and from launching the Charlotte Tilbury make up brand in Ireland to the recent Kildare Village expansion and Schweppes’ summer festival activations. We thank our many talented clients, colleagues, and suppliers over the years who help us to bring our creative ideas to life. We have developed a particular expertise in retail and design.

“The most notable change in the last 21 years is that PR now has a central role in the marketing mix. Advertising used to have more clout at inter agency meetings, but PR and influencer marketing have a more prominent voice in 2022. The pandemic showed the importance of PR agencies as a trusted counsel to clients,” said Emma Kelly. “I am delighted to promote hard working collaborators Claire and Catherine to future proof the agency for our next two decades.”
