The PRCA is committed both to the advancement of the profession in Ireland and to nurturing the professional goals of its members. Membership of the Association requires consultancies to meet strict entry requirements – demonstrating why the experience, skills and creativity of PRCA members rank them amongst the best consultancies in the world.

The achievement of the PRCA (Ireland) Consultancy Management Standard 2022/2024 is a requirement for all members of the PRCA. The Standard is independently assessed and awarded against the specific criteria in five areas:

  • size and scale of operation;
  • professional charters;
  • corporate and financial governance;
  • evaluation and client relationships; and
  • people management.

Holding the Standard demonstrates quality assurance to clients, employees and other stakeholders. It is the only such Standard for Irish communications consultancies and is only available to PRCA members.
